Great Product, Great Price, February 5, 2008We ordered this for our 7 yr. old last year to protect him from injury. It also helped to boost his confidence, knowing that he wasn't going to get the wind knocked out of him everytime he was tackled hard. I love the fact that this protects his ribs and spine, is adjustable, and attaches to his shoulder pads. The only change we made, is throwing away the screws they sent to attach it to the shoulder pads. Those fell out after the 1st practice. My husband used the heavy duty zip ties to attach, and those held up for the whole season. It was also easy to cut them off at the end of the season when we turned in his gear. I would definetly recommend this product for every child playing football.
Excellent Buy, August 22, 2009We purchased this product last year for our son and I'm purchasing another one for my other son. I watched last year as our quarterback set up to throw he got hit hard in the side. without and additional protection. I was comforted knowing that if my son received the same hit, he would most likely not be injured.

78 pounds and fits like a glove, August 12, 2010two weeks in and it is working great. Give me a great sence of protection. I'm a full back and I'm constantly getting hit in the ribs or more often landing on a hard spike/shoe. Great product!
Buy it you won't be sorry!, August 27, 2010I was worried it would be clunky and uncomfortable but it fits both my 48 lb & my 62 lb well. Neither of my sons complain about it and it seems to be comfortable for them. Velcro closure a bit long and I had to cut it to size so it stays closed during playing time. Well worth the money for peace of mind.
