Agility training can improve
your performance in all sports and a variety of activities.
Agility training works on improving your speed, footwork, balance,
reaction time and coordination. To improve your agility, you must
first develop good basic leg strength. This can be done through
weight lifting, sled training and numerous other methods. Once you
acquire leg strength, you can begin agility drills with training aids
such as hurdles, stepover
dummies, high step and speed ladders and polymetric boxes.
Being quick and agile will increase your reaction time to in-game cues
and therefore beating your opponent to the punch, turnover or game
winning move.
