Lightweight pads for hard-hitting running backs

My son is a high school running back and needed new shoulder pads to replace the early style form-fitting Rawlings Combat pads which he loved but had outgrown. We ordered the new Rawling Combat pads but they were no where near the quality of the earlier pads. We ran across these pads on Sports Unlimited and based on the similar appearance to his old pads, we decided to order. He's been quite happy with the pads. These pads are lightweight and more less contour the shoulders. These pads will not give you that exaggerated wide-shoulder look. My son is a hard-hitting running back and has played 3 games so far with these pads and has not complained of any shoulder pain. Pleased with the purchase.

Good Pads

As the HFC at a small HS, my specialty players love these pads. I have bought over 14 pair in the last 2 years. They are lighter and handle the big hit well. My boys like how light they are and they can carry their speed onto the field. When ordering, I always get them within 5 business days.

the shoulder pads were smaller than i thought they would be but fit ok. i just played a game in them this past weekend and they felt great. a little pricey. shipping was horrible. i ordered the on the 9th and recieved them on the 17th! and i even selected the expedited shipping which states 3-5 business days... other than the shipping the pads are ok!
