The First Team Legacy III Fixed Height Basketball Hoop features a 4" x 4", 11 gauge steel pole that is 50% heavier than any pole of its kind, giving this backboard superior rigidity (the more rigid the better the performance). Though this goal is labeled "fixed height", the arm is attached with U-bolts that can be loosened and re-attached at any height along the pole. Regulation basketball hoop height is ten feet high. The extension arm is constructed of tough 4" x 4" square tubing and provides players with a 36" extension distance from post to backboard for added safety.
