My oldest son had just suffered his first concussion while using the old, outdated helmet issued by his middle school so I began researching helmets. This helmet was very reasonably priced so I took a chance on it since the technology involved in its production appeared to well-thought out. It was a major upgrade over the other helmet. I also considered the low-end Revo and Schutt. I am so happy that I chose this one. Fit is snug and the cushioning is not too soft or hard. A week after it's arrival, he bounced up from a helmet to jaw and I knew at that moment that this helmet was worth every cent. I bought ourselves piece of mind with this.
