Q.
Peter from DC asked:
Other than size how does this pad differ from this adult version?

A.
Customer Service: The JPK is essentially the youth version of the SPK. They are the same in most elements of construction, but the SPK uses slightly more durable materials designed to withstand the heavier use by adult players.

Q.
Geoff from Austin, TX asked:
is this the rib pad for these shoulder pads? http://www.sportsunlimitedinc.com/riddell-power-spx-football-rib-belt.html Thanks

A.
Customer Service: No, the SPX rib pad will not fit on the JPK shoulder pads.

Q.
Marcello from So Paulo, Brazil. asked:
Hello, would remove the side protective foam for greater arm mobility ? Thanks for listening.

A.
Customer Service: The Protective foam on the sides is not made to be removable. The interior deltoid pads can be removed. Making any alterations to the pads that is not intended can risk injury and will immediately void any warranty.

JA5 from Brea, California asked:
Will this shoulder pad fit a 5'5 14 year old that weighs 155lbs? His shoulder measurements are 17"-18" and chest measurements are 38"-40".

A.
Customer Service: According to the size chart, he would be a large in this shoulder pad based on the shoulder and chest measurements you provided.

Q.
T from Oak asked:
so any riddell back plate will fit on these pads?

A.

Q.
Mike from Lutz, FL asked:
My son plays QB/WR/CB. His measurements are 17.5 in shoulder width and 35.5 in chest. He weighs 135lbs. He is going into 8th grade. I am having problems finding the right size shoulder pad that allows maximum movement and protection. What size do you recommend?

A.
Customer Service: We recommend going with the shoulder measurement when there is a discrepancy between measurements. Another option would be to go to a store that sells the pads and have your son try them on to decide what feels best. If you order and he does not like the size, they can be returned in new condition for an exchange or refund.

Q.
Dale from fwb, fl asked:
what is the weight of these pads in size small?

A.
Customer Service: These pads in small weigh 3.25 lbs.

Q.
Nick from Agoura, California asked:
If my chest size is 30.5 and my shoulder width is 12, what size pad should I get?

A.
Customer Service: The smallest size these pads fit is shoulder size 17"-18", which would be too big. You need to select a pad that has your measurements in the size chart on the page. Pads that are too big will not provide the intended protection.
