protection, nothing takes care of you better than Riddell's Air Management liner
system, designed with a layer of air chamber that absorb impact slowly as the
air releases after impact. Combine that with strategically placed open-cell
foam, thick, flexible front and rear deltoid pads, shoulder channels, extra-thick clavicle protection,
and oversized caps, and you've got
serious safety at any position, all without a ton of added weight to slow you down. The
PM86DB also features Riddell's flat pad design; a low-profile pad construction designed
for maximum head and neck movement and overall mobility, without sacrificing
impact protection. In this Flat Pad version, the belt and buckle system
replaces the cantilever strap, giving the entire pad a lower profile, more
mobility, and improved visibility. These tightly fitting belts turn the entire
plastic arch into a cantilever strap, transferring impact energy away from the
shoulder area, for more efficient protection.
