Specially designed cushioning has proven to reduce the risk of concussions in players by 31% when compared with a traditional helmet.* Neurosurgery, February 2006, Vol 58, No.2.

Quick Release Face Guard System:
Easily remove your facemask for quick access to your face for drinking or strategizing with this reusable facemask attachment system. Cuts removal time in half over conventional cage attachment systems.

Overliner:
Incredibly comfortable, moisture wicking, and anti-microbial helmet liner, keeps you cool and fresh all season long. Remove the overliner easily for periodic cleaning or laundering.

S-Pad Inflatable:
S-Pad jaw pads are designed to provide the same protection to your jaw that parts of the helmet liner provide to your head. Made of energy management materials, these inflatable jaw pads effectively diffuse impact energy from the side of the head and face.

Inflatable Liner:

Heavy Duty Helmet

Purchased this for my son who is 10 years old. He was on the borderline between a Medium size and a Large. We went with the Large so he could use it for a few more years at least. The inflatable pads allowed the helmet to fit snug, although they are inflated about as far as they will go. The helmet itslef is very well constructed. The only complaint is that it is a bit heavy which seems to be in large part due to the facemask. Next season I plan to invest ina lighter facemask rather than the standard issue. I think what my son likes best though is that his helmet looks just like the Riddell helmets that many of the collge and pro players use. This helmet is definitely worth considering.

Best helmet for my son. It was the third helmet we got in lest than a year. The helmet has the best fit, looks, and best quality than all the others. Even after big hits, it stays on and he doesnt feel a thing.

My son says it is super comfy and being able to inflate the air pockets make it fit just right. On a cosmetic note, all the players notice this helmet, on his team and others.

Well my son has been asking for a Revo Speed since it came out...he has the Revolution helmet which he loves too...but now he think he's the bomb with the Revo Speed...I like the fit, just right...and he likes how it feels on him also...Kudo's

Outstanding protection

Decided to go with the Riddell brand and this is the best youth helmet offered. Fit is great and I have much confidence in it's ability to reduce concussions on the field. You also cannot beat the Sports Unlimited deal with the face mask being included.
