| Football Helmet Buyers Guide > The Riddell Revolution Youth Football Helmet with G2B-R Facemask is Riddell's top selling youth helmet. Introduced in 2002, the Revolution was the first major football helmet innovation in the last 25 years. The Revolution helmet has been a huge success with over a half million youth, high school, college, and pro football players switching because of the superior protection offered by the Revolution helmet. The Z-Pads, extended Tru-Curve shell, and Isolater Faceguard System are all featured on this youth helmet, and in a configuration that makes sense for the junior high and under player. The University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (from a town that knows football) conducted a 3 year study of over 2,000 high school football players and the results showed that the Riddell Revolution helmet provides exceptionally better protection for football players. Players wearing the Revolution helmet were 31% less likely to suffer a concussion compared to athletes who wore traditional helmets. For young players that have yet to experience a concussion, they were 41% less likely to have a concussion while wearing the Revolution. Your head and your children's heads are the most important part of your body to protect. The investment you make on the Riddell Youth Revolution could be more valuable than a $40,000 college education, what good is going to college if your brain has already been beat to a pulp?
