Schutt Air XP Adult Football Helmet

The Schutt AiR XP Adult Football Helmet delivers high powered TPU cushioning in a traditional football helmet shell.  The AiR XP with TPU cushioning is the lightest helmet on the market but delivers the same great protection as larger standoff shells.  With TPU cushioning, the AiR XP offers enhanced impact absorption with greater in-game comfort and hygienics.  The SUREFIT Air Liner with dual inflation points wraps the head in air-filled comfort for the exact fit you need on the field.  Other enhancements on the AiR XP football helmet include AiR Maxx TPU jaw pads for enhanced jaw protection and multiple chinstrap hook-up options with the SUREFIT slots that allow fitting the straps along the inside of the helmet.  If you like a more traditional helmet shell design but still want the increased protection provided by TPU cushioning, than the AiR XP should be your helmet of choice.

TPU Cushioning System
The AiR XP uses Thermoplastic Urethane (TPU) Cushioning that's been proven superior to traditional foam padding in game-like conditions: better impact absorption, better heat management and better hygienics.  TPU cushioning won't take a compression set, won't break down (even after thousands of impacts) and is resistant to mold, mildew fungus and bacteria.

The AiR XP features a two-piece SUREFIT inflatable air liner system that makes this football's best fitting and most comfortable helmet.  The SUREFIT air liner is made from a soft, yet durable anti-microbial material that gives you a precise, custom fit right out of the box.

In head to head testing by an independent lab, the TPU cushioning in the AiR XP dramatically outperformed the Xenith X1 (23% Less impact absorbed), the Riddell Revolution (12% less) and the Riddell VSR-4 (28% less) under game-like conditions.
