Good Overall - Neck Padding An Issue

I ordered these pad for my 11 year old. These are excellent pads except for one thing my son didn't like, which is why I sent them back and docked one star from the review. The padding on either side of the neck was too tight and "pinched" his neck (not adjustable).

Schutt mid flex shoulder pads

excellent pads for youth or juniors, bought these for my son playing select football and must say these are way better than the pads the select teams have to offer. The only thing though is the sizing info from schutt website is different. i bought 16-17" for chest size 34-36 instead got 17-18" chest 36-38 so beware and double check what your ordering.

Awesome Pads

Bought these for my son who is one of the smaller kids on the team and he now hits like a truck. I did not like the quality and coverage of the the "RI_D_EL" gear the team provided. Like other reviews said, it seems they have more confidence and the pads just plain sound better when they hit. I was so impressed I also bought the Schutt DNA and it elevated his game even more. Highly recommend these pads and Schutt products overall.

I have 2 sons using these pads, 1 is a running back, 1 is a wing back, both are outside line backers. Plenty of padding, back comes down and protects lower back, design of the pads allows extended arm motion for catching passes over other brands. They really like them and I can tell a difference in their ability and confidence with these pads.

Had to drill a hole for the neck brace but who cares. My son seems to be hitting harder maybe because they feel better or it is a mind thing. Don't matter, end results matter. Would buy again.

To any one debating on whether or not to purchase a Schutt Shoulder pad. Do it!!!! It's great my son is very pleased it speaks for itself. The cost it well worth it. Yjou pay for what you get and schutt is the way to go.
