The coat overall is excellent and true to size. I'm 5'10" & 170lbs and the medium fits well. The neck area has a fleece lining which keeps you nice and cozy. The only downside is the coat doesn't have any inside pockets, just two exterior ones. Overall, great value!

Nicer than this website picture looks, February 5, 2012Posted By: Allen
Hi all -
I bought the rain jacket for my dad with Parkinson's disease. He uses the Velcro along the zipper lining only to keep the jacket sealed due to his condition. I think the black jacket looks great on him. Ignore the picture with the hood up. We did not even optionally tuck the hood in because it looks good. This is a nice looking jacket and I think it's warm enough for him down to about 40F. It's got a nice mesh lining inside the arms and body to make sure the jacket does not stick to him if he's sweating. Also, the hand area on the jacket arms have a elastic-like ending which is great way to keep the cold out. It was a great buy.

North Face Resolve Jacket, December 27, 2010Posted By: Steve
This jacket is great with keeping you dry. I wore it to a football game and it was raining lightly and it kept me dry for the game. It wears more like an outer shell and is not layered inside, perhaps this is why this jacket is less expensive than other North face coats.
