I really like this ball.
I coach young players in football, this year 6 year olds. As an example of a drill I use the small size ball for, just last night at camp in fact, I put the ball between 5 yard markers and split players up into two lines each facing the ball on either side of the 5 yard field lines. Then they go head to head, trying to push the ball across their oppositions side marker. I use this to help them learn to use both hands and feet simultaneously for blocking control with no pads on. Plus it's a fun competition, it's a workout when they are evenly matched , and you will find your parents getting into yelling encouragement on the field.
This is just one drill that I do pre pads in camps and at the end of practice as a game during the season because along with the towel game, kids love it, and I like to end practice on a fun note, especially with the younger ones, it is important.
