Unlike other Schutt facemasks, the F7 LTD facemasks attach at the sides of the helmet. The low-profile, anti-friction design works in conjunction with the helmet to help absorb the energy from frontal impacts to the helmet. It's titanium construction is stronger and weighs less than tradtional carbon steel, making it easy to see the entire field.
