Latest Life is good News:
In addition to its year-round fundraising efforts, including concerts, speaking engagements, and community events, Life is good have
committed to donating 10% of its net profits in 2013 to kids in need! Through its non-profit Life is good Kids Foundation, and the Playmakers Program, Life is good hopes to enrich the lives of children everywhere.
The Life is
What started as two optimistic brothers trying to focus on the positive, rather than the world’s troubles, has now turned into a worldwide brand of optimism and positive vibes.
In 1989 in Boston, MA, Bert and John Jacobs created a t-shirt business out of the back of their van with an optimistic, stick-figure mascot named Jake. Jake is now featured on everything from tote bags to coffee mugs and Life is good sales have topped $100 million. But quickly after finding success, Bert and John put their focus on giving back to the greatest optimists out there: children.
In 2003, Life is good launched their first annual music and arts festival to raise money for their own charity, The Life is good Kids Foundation. The Foundation helps kids overcome poverty, violence, illness and other traumas by giving them the opportunity to play, connect with others and experience joy.
In 2013, in addition to its year-round fundraising, annual festivals and community events, Life is good began donating 10% of their net profits to The Life is good Kids Foundation and it’s Playmakers Program. Now every time you sport Jake’s quirky smile on a tee, bag or mug, you will know that you are bringing joy into the lives of countless others.
What Our Customers Are
I was delighted to find this merchant. They had a football helmet I
wanted for my son that was way overpriced everywhere else. Not only did
I find it way cheaper with Sports Unlimited online, I also got free
shipping! And even though it was standard ground (projected to take over
a week to deliver), the hat came in just days. The merchant was in touch
and provided tracking info -- a big plus. So...good price, good
shipping, good delivery time. Good deal!"
Q & A's
resident experts provide the best answers to your queries on our huge
collection of gear and apparel
Customer Question: What
sets Life is Good apart from other apparel companies? Why should I spend
good money on a Life is Good t-shirt?
SU Answer: Life is good
has spent the past 20 years trying to answer that question too, but
their gigantic global customer base, and the countless kids and adults
helped by their foundations across every country on the planet, could
probably answer it better than we can. All we can say is that we've
never felt or worn a more comfortable shirt than our life is good ones.
The fabric is so incredibly cozy, that everything from their t-shirts to
their sweatshirts, pants to socks, will undoubtedly end up being your
favorite pieces of clothing in your drawer. The colors are unique
earth-tones that fit any style and any outfit, and don't even get us
started on the designs. Life is Good's cast of characters with their
good vibes and chill messages spread a simple feeling of goodness that
can't be denied.
But outside of being the most comfortable pieces of clothing in our
closets, we dig Life is Good because of the things they do for others,
and the dream they have for the world. The company has been hosting
charitable festivals for years, and sponsors many charitable foundations
and initiatives that benefit kids from all walks of life, at home and
abroad. They're a company that practices what they preach, and in this
day and age, that's just a rare quality that we want to support. So
check out Life is Good, and we're sure you'll see that in a great shirt,
life really is pretty darn good.
