The Gill Athletics Steeplechase Water Jump Barriers are built to provide a durable, immovable hurdle for steeplechase water jump pits. Engineered for reliability and competition performance, these barriers feature a 4" x 4" square steel beam covered with synthetic track material, delivering secure footing and long-lasting durability for athletes during the water jump.
Designed with convenience in mind, the barrier uses a spring-loaded pull pin adjustment system with clamping knobs that allow quick and easy height changes. The barrier can be adjusted to 30", 33", or 36", making it suitable for various competition levels while maintaining secure positioning during use.
Two installation options are available to match different facility designs. The 740134 ground sleeve version installs directly into sleeves embedded in the water jump pit wall and pairs with the F610 water jump form. The 740144 surface mount version uses stainless steel mounting plates anchored to the pit wall and is compatible with the F600 water jump form. Both options provide a stable, competition-ready barrier system.
Constructed with heavy-duty steel components and reinforced with welded gussets for additional beam support, these barriers are designed for long-term performance at high-use track facilities. They meet NFHS, NCAA, and World Athletics specifications, and the surface mount version is World Athletics Certified.
