The hardened, positive-locking, steel worm gears are designed with a 200:1 reduction to eliminate backlash and slippage that commonly occurs on belt driven winches, and the 7000# aircraft cable winds on a grooved aluminum drum that keeps the cable from getting tangled or damaged. Plus, it can even be operated using the optional remote control!
