The Bison T-Rex Sport Portable Basketball System delivers elite-level performance, safety, and durability for every level of play - from international competition to intramural and recreational use. Engineered with Bison?s industry-leading extension spring counterbalance technology, the T-Rex system allows the rim height to be raised, lowered, and stored quickly, smoothly, and safely. Zero-maintenance, self-lubricating bearings combined with chrome-plated steel pivot axles ensure long-term reliability and effortless operation at every pivot point.
Designed with both performance and aesthetics in mind, the T-Rex features a narrow-profile upright to reduce visual interference for spectators and media. Ballast weight is fully concealed within a covered containment cell, preserving a clean, professional appearance. Floor-friendly 8" x 2" wide casters - configured by model - allow for easy, worry-free mobility, and when placed in the transport position, the system rolls through any doorway with a minimum clearance of 84" high by 78" wide.
The T-Rex Sport is the first and only truly outdoor-durable T-Rex portable basketball system. All primary steel components are hot-dip galvanized for superior corrosion resistance, making the system ideal for outdoor courts and harsh coastal or high-humidity environments. The padded base features 1" thick dense polyethylene foam that resists moisture absorption and is bonded to a non-wood industrial backing to prevent warping, rotting, and water damage. A heavy-duty 14-oz vinyl cover provides added protection and a professional finish.
Choose between an official-size 42" x 72" tempered glass backboard or an unbreakable polycarbonate backboard, both paired with a heavy-duty breakaway rim. Integrated locking mechanisms prevent unauthorized height adjustment and unwanted base movement, ensuring safety and consistency during play.
