Measuring 8' x 8' x 2", the platform is constructed from two layers of 3/4" plywood topped with a 1/2" (12mm) track surface for enhanced traction and durability. The competition ring meets regulation indoor shot put and weight throw specifications, giving athletes a consistent, professional throwing experience.
For convenient handling, the platform separates into two 4' x 8' interlocking sections. Spring-loaded recessed handles make transport easier, while the interlocking design ensures secure alignment during use. The gray marine paint finish provides long-lasting protection, and the textured inner ring is coated with an anti-slip clear finish to promote confident footwork in the circle.
The platform includes an easily removable Synthetic Toeboard (358) that assembles in-field, allowing for efficient setup and breakdown. It is also compatible with toeboards 358 and 359, offering flexibility to meet facility and competition needs.
