The Gill Athletics Stainless Steel Vault Box and Lid provide a durable, corrosion-resistant solution for pole vault installations in track and field facilities. Engineered for long-term performance, the vault box is constructed from a stainless steel alloy using fold-and-weld fabrication, creating a rigid and reliable structure designed to withstand years of use and exposure to the elements. A white powder coat finish enhances visibility and adds an additional layer of protection.
The vault box is manufactured from a single sheet of corrosion-resistant stainless steel with folded edges and welded joints for strength and safety. The backstop is continuously welded along the exterior, while the upper edges are folded to eliminate sharp edges. Installation bolts at the corners allow the box to be securely positioned in concrete for proper alignment and stability.
The optional stainless steel vault box lid is designed specifically to pair with the Gill stainless steel vault box. Constructed from 12-gauge 304 stainless steel plate, the lid features two angled vertical supports that reinforce the structure and prevent sagging over time. Its recessed design accommodates a 1/2" (12 mm) track surface, allowing the lid to sit flush with the runway for a clean, seamless appearance when installed.
The lid and vault box are intended to be ordered separately and used together to ensure proper fit and optimal corrosion resistance. This system meets NFHS and NCAA specifications, making it suitable for high school and collegiate competition facilities.
