The 4-foot extension places the face of the backboard a full 4' from the centerline of the support post, providing ample play area under the goal. The 4-1/2? O.D. support post is constructed from 7-gauge wall zinc Flo-Coat steel tubing, offering exceptional corrosion resistance and long-term structural integrity in outdoor environments.
For added durability, the goal mounts directly through the backboard, eliminating stress and strain on the backboard during aggressive play.
