Princess Field Hockey

Founded by Aad Ouborg in 1994, the Princess Sportsgear brand originally began by manufacturing high end appliances; however, the brand has since expanded into the field hockey industry and dominated it, currently retailing in over twenty countries with great success. They were established in 2011 as an official field hockey retailer with FIH-approved products, including outdoor sticks, shoes, indoor gear, and accessories, and they are constantly striving to uphold their unique business concept that focuses on providing the field hockey world with affordable and innovative high-quality products, while still managing to incorporate fun and trendy designs that players love.

The sticks are categorized by the number of stars, ranging from 2 to 7. The higher the number of stars, the higher the carbon content and therefore the stiffer the stick will be! For example, a 7 star stick has a 100% carbon composition to offer elite players maximum striking power, while a 2 star stick only has a 10% carbon content, providing less experienced players with more flexibility and a softer touch on the ball. Within each level of stars, Princess also offers several options of the mold, or shape of the stick. Each of the six molds have a unique shape and curve as well as varying thickness of the grip and shape of the head to best suit your playing style or position.

All Princess field hockey sticks are specially reinforced on the heel and along the reverse stick zone for extra durability and to maximize the life of the stick. They also utilize the highest quality carbon, Japanese Toray, to offer you a strong yet lightweight stick that you can rely on game after game.
