The Rae Crowther Motion Tackler V5 is a tackling sled that moves. A coach can angle or push the sled as the tackler approaches, simulating a ball carrier lowering before contact by angling the S pad down. At contact, the coach can hold the sled to provide resistance or release it. The sled is lightweight and easy to move, allowing players to tackle and upright it easily. When the player lifts the S pad, a brake engages to stop the sled from rolling back, letting the player take it to the ground. The S pad helps tacklers work on closing space from ear to ear and includes head, torso, waist, and knee angles to mimic a ball carrier. Choose between S1 or S2 pads, with the S2 featuring arms and a chest plate. Pad colors include black, navy, royal, red, and green. Model #MTV5 weighs 212 lbs and is powder coated black.

- A coach can angle or push the sled at will. As the tackler approaches the coach can angle the S Pad down, simulating the ball carriers going lower/smaller before contact.
- At contact the coach can continue to hold onto the sled (providing resistance) or simply let go.
- The sled is light to move. Tackle to the ground and upright easily.
- When a player hits the sled and lifts the S pad it engages a simple brake mechanism. The brake stops the sled from rolling back at the coach and allows the player to take the sled to the ground.
- S pad allows tackler to work on eliminating space to the ball carrier, ear to ear.
- Choose between the S1 and S2 pads (S2 has arms and chest plate). The S-Pad has a head, torso, waist and knees. It represents the angles of a ball carrier.
