Riddell backplate
the back plate itself is hard and light,but i have had to replace the screws and backing and washer twice because the plate has come apart twice in practice , and believe me my kid isnt lawrence taylor, i had to put a lockwasher on it and the jury is out on that, just did it today, we have the riddell junior pads and these do fit nicely with them but there has to be a better answer

Great backplate
I injured my back last season and so this backplate was a great thing to have so I didn't injure it any further
