The new design includes two additional bars on each side of the eye opening to protect hands from poking in and allow you to focus straight ahead. This sytle is preferred by running back, wide receiver, tight end, defensive back, linebacker, and defensive end positions. Made from carbon steel, this facemask fits most major brands of football visors.
