The Bison Elite Competition Breakaway Basketball Rim was constructed using a high tensile strength steel ring with a fully welded 1/4" rim support to provide more bend resistance than a normal rim, and it utilized a six-point lubrication system to ensure the smoothest possible action. An AcuFlex adjustable tension breakaway mechanism is enclosed by Bison's exclusive safety padded coverplate, while its one-piece continuous net attachment system ensures the net is securely fixed. Plus, the backplate was designed to fit all hole patterns on 42" and 48" rectangular and fan-shaped glass backboards for an easy and convenient attachment!
