The Porter Ultra Breakaway Elite Basketball Rim was designed with a static-load pressure release mechanism that can be adjusted to increase or decrease breakaway force, and these adjustments can be easily made by using the provided tools to tighten or loosen the screws. This rim includes a high quality white anti-whip net and all the necessary mounting hardware to attach it to any 42" x 72" rectangular backboard, and the Tube-tie Net Attachment system replaces the conventional wire-formed type net locks that improve player safety and decrease installation time. It also features a unique design that allows the rim to absorb impact from all directions and reduce the shock in a player's hand when slam dunking or hanging on the rim.
