Designed for front mounting on standard glass, wood, and fiberglass type backboards, its mounting pattern fits 5" x 4" or 5" x 5", and it's compatible with all Center-Strut direct mount type support frames. This rim includes a high quality, white anti-whip net and all the necessary plated mounting hardware, and the Tube-tie Net Attachment system makes it super easy to attach the net to the rim while eliminating any possibility of injury during play. It also has a unique shock absorption feature that utilizes a special, offset hinge arrangement rim and a backplate mounting pattern with concealed spring mechanisms. Plus, the amount of flex the rim allows can even be adjusted-- simply remove the cover plate and use the provided tools to adjust the screws and increase or decrease the breakaway force.
