CUSTOMS, DUTIES, TARIFFS, TAXES

Is the cost of duties and taxes including in the checkout?

No, you are responsible for any duties and taxes your country requires.

*Canada shipping may have an option to pay duties and taxes when purchasing. If so, the shipping method will say "includes duties and taxes". If it does not, you are responsible for these fees before Customs will release your package.

What happens if I refuse a package?

If you refuse an internationally shipped package that has been received by customs because you will not pay the tariffs or taxes, we will refund you the cost of the product after charging you for the shipping and additional fees required to return the package to us.

We reserve the right to charge a restocking fee and recover costs billed to us in the event that you refuse an international shipment because of duties and customs charged by your country.

When do I pay taxes?

We do not charge tax when you check out, but your local customs officials will assess taxes before allowing the item to enter your country. The carrier will usually pay these fees on your behalf and collect them from you at the time of delivery. You are responsible for ALL customs fees, including duties, taxes, brokerage fees, and any other fees, assessed at the border before delivery.

When I return a package, will you refund the shipping, customs, duties, taxes, VAT, or tariffs?

Unfortunately, we cannot refund your original domestic and international shipping charges. Additionally, we cannot refund customs, duties, taxes, VAT or tariffs. In special cases, if you are returning a purchase, you may be eligible for a refund of a portion or all of the duties and taxes from your local customs office. Contact that customs office directly for details.

As always, call us up or email us if you have additional questions!
