SVT is an added layer of very thin fabric wrapped around the carbon and heated to become part of the carbon fiber layup. This adds additional toughness on the field. Epoch also manipulated the orientation of the carbon fiber to offer a soft flex shaft that provides excellent control, and they finished the shaft with a Micro-Bead texture that improves the overall grip and feel of the shaft.
